I actually did better on the math section than any other section. The Praxis II section only provides an overview of each section and a few practice questions. I would recommend this book for anyone taking the Praxis I. The practice tests are very useful and are almost identical to the actual test. Overall, a great value. I had not had a math class in years so I really needed a refresher. This book provided problems and detailed explanations.

I ran out of time and didn't have time to edit or proofread mine. Practice the test with a timer, espically the essay. My advice: watch your TIME.

I would strongly recommend everyone who is taking the Praxis I to buy this as their study guide. Best of Luck. After taking the Praxis I the first time (I took the computerized version) I realized how wonderful this study guide was.

I was able to pass all three sections the first time.

It mentions the various Praxis II tests briefly. I am sure that I've earned a score that exceeds the requirement on the writing portion and therefore will have passed the Praxis.It is important to note that this book WILL NOT be useful when preparing for Praxis II. When I receive my writing score in a few weeks, I will update this review with the margin of success.

I took the computer-based Praxis I yesterday. I worked through the review problems and the practice tests. This book it is very helpful in preparing you for Praxis I.

I am happy to report that I scored 12 points higher than required on reading and 8 points higher on math. You will need another publication to help prepare for your specific Praxis II exam. It had been over 10 years since I had a standardized test.

I was concerned that I would not do well.

I have not yet taken the other PRAXIS exams but expect it to be helpful for them as well. I found this book very helpful in preparing for the PRAXIS I exam.

Students can work on test like items and work on their reading rate as well.I hieghly recommend this book for those preparing students for the test. This is an excellent preparation text for the PRAXIS test.
